Ali AbuHaliqa is a seasoned and experienced leader in the field of Human Capital, currently heading the Human Capital and Corporate Services divisions in a global, multicultural energy company, with deep knowledge and expertise across Human Capital, strategic planning, and change management, with a well-documented history of adeptly achieving the objectives outlined in Human Capital missions, visions, strategies, and desired outcomes. Proven track record of successfully delivering Human Capital mission, vision, strategy, and promised results.

Presently, Ali is at the forefront of Mubadala Energy, an international energy company, serving as the Senior Vice President of Human Capital & Corporate Services. In this capacity, Ali has been tasked with the leadership and oversight of functions related to Human Capital and Corporate Services. His prior experience encompasses roles with Mubadala Development Company, Mubadala MOG, and Mubadala BMS.

Ali’s expertise lies primarily in Human Capital, with a focus on areas such as Employee Relations, Compensation Benefits, and Recruitment. Accumulating more than 14 years of comprehensive experience, He has occupied diverse roles within the Human Capital department, honing my skills in Employee Relations, Recruitment, Compensation, and Benefits, as well as Talent Management.

During his time at Mubadala Energy, Ali consistently demonstrated exceptional proficiency in both strategizing and executing a wide range of significant projects spanning the Human Capital department and General Services. His notable achievements encompass the successful implementation of the Oracle System at Mubadala Energy, the efficient automation of the Promotions System, the introduction of a new Global Recruitment System, and his pivotal role in establishing the Mubadala Petroleum (MP) organization in 2012. Furthermore, Ali played a crucial role in crafting comprehensive Human Capital policies and procedures for both Abu Dhabi and overseas offices. He was also actively involved in shaping salary and title structures within Mubadala Energy. His close collaboration with senior management at Mubadala Energy on key strategic initiatives, including Emiratization, was instrumental in realizing the company’s business strategy, particularly in the areas of workforce planning and cost optimization.

Ali’s engagement extended to matters involving investments, notably his crucial contribution to the smooth divestment of mature assets in Thailand in 2023. This achievement was characterized by the careful execution of a “clean exit” strategy, with the primary objective of optimizing shareholder value.

Ali commenced his career with the Mubadala Group in 2010 after a prosperous tenure in the diverse UAE private sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Abu Dhabi University in the UAE, complemented by a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from the same institution.
