His Excellency, Dr. Bander Alsajjan, is a highly accomplished executive with a rich and varied work portfolio spanning over two decades. He currently serves as the Director General at the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) in Saudi Arabia, where for the past year, he has continued to build upon and strengthen the IPA’s culture of excellence. He previously served as a Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Energy, Industry, and Mineral Resources, and prior to that, he served as the Deputy of Strategy and International Affairs for the Capital Market Authority. Dr. Alsajjan obtained an MBA from the University of Scranton and earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Brunel University in London.  He has authored a number of impactful publications and has a strong personal interest in research regarding the development and modernization of the public sector in Saudi Arabia. His interests are broad, including, but not limited to: public sector optimization, capital markets, banking, project management, policy development, and international relations.
